CIMA K2 is the best glider for all pilots who just love flying light. Do not compromise on reducing weight, performance or the handling - just fly CIMA K2. It is a modification of the CIMA that is still favoured by pilots thanks to its stability that is so valued during mountain flying.
CIMA K2 is even lighter. It's an ultra light wing (only 3.5 kg in the M size with the traditional (13mm) risers) that can be used for every day flying because the unique mix of materials and the way they are used ensures maximal durability, low porosity value over time and minimal ageing of the wing. The panels are made of ultra light SKYTEX 27 classic while the leading edge uses SKYTEX 40 deperlant to minimise the ageing of the wing.
CIMA K2 has the same certification as CIMA – AFNOR Standard.
The CIMA K2 is the multi-purpose glider suitable for every pilot's needs. Despite its light weight and compact size the CIMA K2 is a glider without compromise.
The CIMA K2 has performance to rival any Standard class paraglider.

The French company Porcher Sport, which is part of the NVC GROUP, supplies the glider fabric. In the last two years Porcher Marine have been heavily involved in fabric development; creating new and more durable coatings which has led to a new generation of materials known as New Skytex.
The new coating is much more resistant to abrasion, humidity and UV light.
We use SKYTEX 27 classic for the top and bottom surfaces to ensure the glider is light, and SKYTEX 40 deperlant (bilateral water base coating that impregnates the fibres, rather than just the surface) for the leading edge to ensure the best available protection against ageing. Profiles and diagonals or diagonal segments are produced from Skytex 40 hard finish.
The fabric is manufactured using the “Rip Stop” weave structure, out of superpolyamid (PA 6.6) by the American firm DU PONT.
The upper lines on the CIMA K2 are the high tech lines by French COUSIN. These lines create high resistance from mechanical abrasion as well as a high degree of length stability. The main lines are of the highest quality and are supplied by the German firm LIROS. These lines have high resistance from mechanical abrasion as well as a high degree of length stability.
The upper gallery of the line scheme (forks) is manufactured using the unsheathed COUSINE dyneema lines – TOP LINE Ultimate 16175. The main lines are made of Liros PPSL – the core is made of “dyneema” and lines are covered by polyester sleeves.
The risers are made from 13 mm wide webbing, it is manufactured by our supplier MOUKA TIŠNOV. The suspension lines are connected to the risers by means of quick links (maillons) from the French supplier Maillon Rapide.
In 2007 Sky Paragliders company was certified as a 100% SKYTEX partner for Porcher Marine fabrics. That allows us to use the latest development benefits and share them with all our pilots. Also the certification ensures that the whole glider is made of the same material and that SKY PARAGLIDERS do not combine the best available quality of Porcher with any other materials available on the market.
