GII 4 ALPHA

Gii 4 Alpha is a new generation of harnesses for paragliding schools, as well as for pilots who love things simple and practical. Perfection is reached only when you think of everything. And this is how Gii 3 was reborn as the new Gii 4 brand.

The main distinctive features are:

• Our strap system features the popular "4S" system (SKY SAFETY STRAP SYSTEM) to ensure safety and comfort provided by the "one loop only" system.

• The strap system has been redesigned to include 30 mm straps to easily fit our new main carabiners.

• The current strap was custom designed and manufactured for our harness - we did not want to compromise and when there is nothing to choose from on the market, we have to design it ourselves. The strap is robust, suitable for heavy stitching using either bar tack or automated stitching, features well-balanced elasticity and works well with the buckles we use.

• The back part has been modified to feature a new shape. We listened carefully and know how some pilots need more space in the main pocket

• The shoulder straps have been made longer to improve ground handling and add comfort for ground training and early days of take-offs and landings at the training field

• The new harness is designed with separate leg straps for added comfort. Male pilots will especially appreciate this new feature, but the easy-to-get-into harness will certainly be favoured by female pilots, as well.

• Gii 4 Alpha features an LTF certified back protector.

• Leg straps were designed for easier integration of the harness board.

• Gii 4 Alpha features an integrated radio pocket and is also camelback ready.

• Side pockets are fitted with safety loops.

• Specially designed covers for the speed system eliminate the risk of messing up with the reserve handle.

• Adjustable container and reserve handle can be switched to the other side for left-handed pilots.

• The geometry of the harness has not been changed. The harness itself remains comfortable, practical, easy to adjust, very stable and still provides flight information from the wing.

Gii 4 Alpha is available in 3 primary colours and wide range of sizes to fit most pilots. Please, check sizes carefully with your dealer to allow for maximum comfort during flight.

To accommodate the reserve you will need:

A - Main carabiners (not included):

• 2x main carabiner 30 mm 

B - Container for reserve:

• is fully integrated

C - The harness could be equipped with the following reserves:

• SKY SYSTEM 3 (recommended)
• QUATRO
• SKY LITE

D - V-riser:

• V risers for a reserve (included)

E - V riser - reserve connection:

• 1x Maillon 6,0 CI rectangular is part of SKY SYSTEM 3 reserves delivery.
• SKY LITE reserve does not come with maillons. We recommend buying Maillon 6,0 CI rectangular.
• QUATRO reserve does not come with maillons. We recommend buying Maillon 6,0 CI rectangular.

F – V-riser – harness connection is not needed. V-riser is sewn to the harness and cannot be detached.

• Webbing: PES 30mm 11kN, PES 25mm 9,5kN,
• V-riser for reserve: PAD 16mm, 16kN
• Buckles: COBRA™ AustriAlpin

Any time we are asked to improve on something that we believe is already pretty good, we start by thinking how. „Impossible”, looks like the first logical answer. Then we brainstorm and ask pilots for feedback and we realize that we can still improve the harness. So, we decided to take every single design element and see how to take it from better to the best (until the next generation, of course).
